A lifelong vinyl fan, I always wanted to spend my time surrounded by music. Following three years at Warwick University where I got to play at being a University Radio DJ & after many, many rejections, I finally landed my first radio gig with a station in East Anglia. Three years later I moved to London to join the then-new Heart, where I stayed for 14 years. It was during that time that I met some people from BFBS, beginning a Forces association that has lasted approaching 20 years. I have also hosted radio shows with Magic in London, plus Wave 105 & The Breeze across the South Coast. When not in my musical playground playing new tunes for the Forces, I also spend time teaching at a secondary school & am a very hands-on Daddy to two young girls & have been married since 2005. In my spare time, I get to as many gigs as possible, and go running & cycling (although unlike others, I make no attempt to break the land-speed record). Lycra has become a friend, although only the kind of friend who you'd be happy to be seen with very early in the mornings...
