George first joined BFBS Radio in 2006, and presented shows in Gibraltar, Cyprus, the Falkland Islands, the UK and Afghanistan. She has also worked on commercial radio in the UK and for the BBC. Highlights of her time in radio so far include dressing as a parrot, having a cockroach poem written for her and multiple abseiling challenges. None of which went well.
After working in the Middle East for six years but still not getting a tan, she is now back in the UK on BFBS Radio. In her spare time, she might be down the gym or most likely having a Netflix binge. Again.
