Knowing from an early age that he wouldn't have a face for TV, Jason landed a chance to be part of a kids show on his local radio station in Bournemouth when he was just 10. After printing, driving buses and selling shoes, he eventually ended up getting paid for doing his dream job.
Before joining BFBS, Jason worked on the radio in Southampton and for the station serving Blandford & Shaftesbury plus he was Breakfast presenter and Programme Controller of West Dorset's commercial radio station, when it won two prestigious Arqiva awards in the same year. He feels though that being in Blandford for BFBS is like 'coming home'.
Jason is married to Dawn and they have two daughters, Lydia & Imogen, plus their second hand cat, Phoebe.
