After ten years working in communications, Ryan went from an office desk to a mixing desk when he began presenting at a community radio station in Southampton in late 2020. But his affinity for radio goes way back further and, if you asked his parents, they would share how growing up he would present ‘Ryan Radio’ while listening along to Now 50 on their CD player.
Since returning to his childhood love of radio he has covered a myriad of shows, set up a local music show and was selected as part of the Top 10 in RadioStar 2023, an international radio talent search.
Outside of work, Ryan is always up for an adventure, particularly if it involves the outdoors, hiking and being in and around mountains. He’s a self-professed coffee snob, an NFL fanatic (go Saints!) and an avid reader of murder mystery. He also likes to think of himself as a bit of a chef, but he still hasn’t mastered cooking rice.
