As a child of the mid 1960s, Stevie D honed his particular love of 80s and 90s music around the pubs and clubs in the West of Scotland (Dumbarton – aka the Scottish Riviera). As a long-term Civil Servant, Stevie got back into spinning discs as a volunteer presenting in 2021 down in BFBS Falkland Islands and then did a free transfer to BFBS Cyprus in Aug 2024.
Favourite pastimes: watching sport; trying to get the golf handicap back into single figures, reading for relaxation (fiction only please) and listening to a wide range of music. Favourite film – Star Wars (any). Favourite Book – The Broons or Oor Wullie Christmas album. Favourite Artist(s) - Rick Astley / Simple Minds / Roxy Music.
